image_post45.jpg The natural gas industry has recently begun drilling deeper into the Marcellus Shale Field for their new supply of natural gas. This gas is imbedded under the Appalachian Mountain range and stretches from lower West Virginia through Pennsylvania up through New York. This newly found source however takes extraordinary measures and resources in order to recover the gas at a reasonable cost. One of these resources is an enormous amount of fresh water and the disposal of an enormous amount of contaminated "frac" water. Allegheny Ozone has the ability to treat frac water with patented equipment. This equipment is state-of-the-art and will convert the frac water into reusable fresh water. This process will be the answer to many gas companies' problem of disposing of their contaminated water by using this water multiple times, saving hauling costs and disposal fees. This equipment is designed to satisfy all of the gas company's immediate needs concerning the frac and fresh water issues listed below. Frac and F ...

image_post71.gif Hydro Recovery LP (Hydro) is a manufacturer of Hydraulic Stimulation Fluid (HSF™). The process will utilize high total dissolved solids fluids (HTDSF) which are classified as a residual waste and process it into a reusable HSF™ product. HTDSF is generated during the natural gas exploration and production activities and is commonly referred to as drilling fluids, "frac water," "flowback water," or "production water." The company can also offer Marcellus Shale wastewater disposal. Hydro Recovery plans on building multiple regional plants that will be strategically located along main routes where natural gas is being drilled in the Marcellus Shale formation in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. The goal is to minimize transportation to within 30 miles of well sites, increase convenience for customers, reduce trucking expenses, and reduce truck traffic in local communities – all while being more environmentally friendly. Natural gas companies can choose to install their own pipelines which could run from ...

Patriot Water Treatment

Category - Waste Water Treatment and/or Disposal

image_post72.jpg About Us Water Treatment We have created a safe process to treat water from natural gas drilling. There are two types of water generated from the development of oil and gas wells. One is low total dissolved solids "TDS" (fresh water) and the other is high "TDS," (brine water) which is also called production water. Patriot treats light TDS water that cannot be practically reused and should not be injected into deep wells. Patriot also partners with injection well owners not only to treat water that cannot be injected safely, but also to send them cleaned water that is too heavily salted to go through Patriot's process. This can be re-injected in active well sites. Please view the video: Our process follows strict guidelines to maintain the safety of our community We continue in-depth research to demostrate that this is the most environmentally sound method to dispose of light water, which is created by fracking. Our Process First, the water is transferred from an incoming tanker truck to ...

Wastewater Treatment Services – The wastewater treatment environment has shifted dramatically in Pennsylvania in 2011. The DEP's request that drillers voluntarily not use "exempt" permitted wastewater treatment facilities, like AWS of PA, for the disposal of Marcellus well-related wastewaters, created some confusion in the marketplace. To help us clarify the DEP's intent, we contacted Dana Aunkst, PA DEP's Deputy Secretary for Field Operations, on August 22, 2011. Centralized Wastewater ...
